Cookie policy

The short version

This site uses one piece of strictly necessary storage to remember your cookie choice. Everything else — analytics and advertising measurement — is optional, loads only if you accept it, and can be switched off again at any time using "Cookie choices" in the footer. If you choose "Essential only", no analytics or advertising script is loaded at all. They are not loaded and then disabled; they are never fetched.

Strictly necessary storage

This is used without consent, because the site cannot work properly without it and UK law does not require consent for it.

• njav-cookie-consent — stores your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so you are not asked on every page. Set by this site. Stays until you clear your browser storage or change your choice.
• Form submission — when you send the supplier application form, the request goes to our hosting provider, Netlify, which may set a short-lived cookie to process the submission and block spam.

Analytics and advertising, only with your consent

If you accept, some or all of the following may be used. Each is a third-party service that sets its own cookies and receives information about your visit. If a tool is not currently switched on for this site, its script is not loaded and it sets nothing.

• Google Analytics 4 — how the site is used: pages viewed, roughly where visitors come from, which pages lead to an enquiry. Sets _ga (2 years) and _ga_<id> (2 years).
• Google Ads — measures whether an advert led to an enquiry, so we are not paying for advertising that does not work. Sets _gcl_au (90 days) and may read Google's advertising cookies.
• Meta Pixel — the same measurement for Facebook and Instagram advertising. Sets _fbp (90 days).
• Microsoft Clarity — anonymised recordings of how people move through pages, used to find things that are confusing or broken. Sets _clck (1 year) and _clsk (1 day).

Changing your mind

Select "Cookie choices" in the footer of any page to change your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent stops the optional scripts loading from that point on. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings — every major browser lets you do this, and doing so will not stop the site working, though it will make us ask about cookies again on your next visit.

Selecting a "Get my quote" button takes you to our enquiry tool, which runs on a separate platform with its own cookie notice. This policy covers notjustanyvan.uk only.
