Packing handled with the move, not bolted on later.

Add packing to any move we arrange — the whole house or just the breakables. The crew brings the materials, and it's all priced within your move quote, not bolted on afterwards.

How packing fits into your move

It's part of the quote, not an afterthought on the invoice.

Mention packing in your enquiry

When you tell us about your move, say you want packing — everything, or just the fragile stuff like the kitchen and the glass cabinet.

One line is enough

We see what needs packing

In your video walkthrough or photos, show us the cupboards as well as the furniture. What's inside them is what gets packed, so nothing should be hidden away.

One quote covering the lot

Packing is priced as part of your move quote — labour and materials together. One figure, not a surprise line for boxes at the end.

Labour and materials in one figure

Packing day

The crew arrives with boxes, paper and tape, and packs room by room, labelling as they go. Usually the day before the move, sometimes the same morning for smaller homes.

Usually the day before the move

Everything lands in the right room

Labelled boxes come off the van into the rooms they belong in. You unpack a kitchen box in the kitchen, not in the garage three weeks later.

Labelled, room by room

Why this is safer

What's packed badly breaks quietly

You don't find out how the kitchen was wrapped until you unwrap it in the new house — so who does the packing matters as much as who drives the van.

What happens with us

One firm, one contactThe same person here, from your first message to the last box.

Packed by the crew that moves you. The firm packing your things is the same vetted, insured firm carrying them — one whose documents we've been through and whose insurance we've checked with the insurer.

Reviewed after every move. Packing gets judged at the other end, when things come out of boxes. Every job is rated afterwards, and firms that pack carelessly don't stay on our books.

Your details stay with us until you approve. Same promise as the move itself: one firm gets your name and address once you've said yes to the quote. Nobody else, ever.

One price, nothing added on top. Packing costs what the firm quotes for packing. There is no Not Just Any Van fee folded into the boxes.

What it costs

One quote covers the packing and the move

Packing isn't billed separately — it's included in your move quote, materials and all. You pay for the move as usual by card, through a secure payment link we send you. No checkout on this site, no card details over the phone.

Often needed with this

It starts with the move itself

Packing is an add-on to a move we're arranging, and for most people that move is a house move. Tell us about the whole job — rooms, dates, what needs packing — and it comes back as one quote.

I received great service from Billy. He was punctual and professional. He took his time to check all of my furniture was packed safely and was still finished in good time.

Everything you'd want from a moving company. Billy and Harvey were Friendly, punctual, took great care with all our things, gave us extra packing materials to better protect important items, and got heavy and cumbersome things into difficult places. We got a whole house move for hundreds less than any other company. We'd highly recommend them!

Packing Services questions

Full packing means the crew packs everything in the house. Fragiles only covers the breakable stuff — kitchen, glassware, pictures, ornaments — and you do the rest. Most people who want help choose fragiles only.

No. Materials are included in the price and the crew brings them — proper double-walled boxes, packing paper and tape, not whatever the supermarket had.

Ideally yes, at least at the start — you can point out what's precious, what's rubbish, and what's not going. After that, most people leave them to it.

Usually the day before your move, so you're not living out of boxes for a week. Smaller homes can sometimes be packed on the morning of the move itself.

Yes. When the crew packs your things, they're covered by the firm's insurance from packing through to delivery — insurance we've verified with the insurer, not just taken on trust.

Packing is an add-on to a move we're arranging, so on its own it's not something we offer. If you only need packing, get in touch anyway and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
