How it works
One enquiry. One checked firm. No phone ringing off the hook.
You tell us about the move once. We do the ringing round, the checking and the arguing about dates. You get one price from one firm and one person to talk to.
Tell us about the move
Two postcodes, a rough date and roughly how much there is. Two minutes on the form, or five on the phone if you'd rather talk. No account, no card.
Your only job
We ring you, then we match
We ask the awkward questions — stairs, parking, the loft, the piano — then pick the one firm on our books best suited to that house on that date. Not the one that bids lowest.
Same working day, usually
One written quote comes back
A fixed price for the job as described, with anything that could change it listed and priced. Your details still haven't gone anywhere. If you'd rather not go ahead, say so and that's the end of it.
Nothing shared yet
You approve it, and we stay in it
Only then do we introduce you to the firm. We're still here if the completion slips, the crew is late or something gets broken — being the middle is no use if we vanish when there's a problem.
Moving day
The bits nobody enjoys
Ringing round and comparing on your behalf.
Checking insurance with the insurer, not the firm.
Applying for bay suspensions on permit streets.
Moving the date when the solicitors move it.
Chasing a claim if something goes wrong.
And what we never do
Sell your number to five firms and let them fight over it.
Send a crew from the other end of the county because they bid lowest.
Add a fee of our own on top of the firm's price.
Chase you for weeks if you decide not to go ahead.
Our commission is agreed with the firm, not added to your bill. What you see is one price from one firm, settled before anything is booked.
The usual questions
Start at step one — tell us about the move
Two minutes, no account, and nothing shared with anyone until you've approved the quote.
