Man & Van in Norwich
The small jobs Norwich books most
Most man-and-van work in the city comes in a handful of shapes. Each one goes to a firm that does that kind of job week in, week out.
Flats and flat shares
City-centre and NR2 flats with narrow stairs and no lift. A smaller van suits the Lanes and the permit streets better than a lorry ever would.
Student rooms
Halls to house shares for UEA and NUA students, timed around the September and June turnover.
Student Moves →Single items and Marketplace pickups
A sofa from Hellesdon, an auction wardrobe, a bed going to family in Costessey. One item is a proper job as far as we're concerned.
Furniture Collection & Delivery →Small office and shop moves
A few desks, a stockroom or a studio across the city. When it's the whole office, it's planned and quoted as an office move instead.
Office & Commercial Moves →Local knowledge
What changes a small move in Norwich
The van is smaller, but the city's quirks are the same. Worth knowing before the day, not at 8am on it.
Permit streets. Much of NR2 is residents' parking. Tell us the street and we arrange a bay suspension with the council where the job needs one.
The Lanes and the city centre. Pedestrianised sections and delivery restrictions mean early starts — exactly where a small van earns its keep.
Terrace stairs. A sofa that came in through a new-build door won't always turn a Victorian landing. A photo of the stairs means the right number of hands turns up.
Late September and June. Student turnover around the UEA fills local diaries fast, small jobs included. Book earlier than you think around term dates.

Tell us what's moving
Send a few photos or a short description through the quote tool — what it is, where it's going, and when. No video call, no one coming round to look.
About 2 minutes
Instant quote
You get a fixed price straight away. Small jobs don't need a survey, and there's no hourly clock that creeps up while the van sits in coastal traffic.
Straight away, not a callback
Nothing is shared until you book
The quote comes from us, and your details are still only with us. The one vetted firm doing the job gets your name, address and number when you book — nobody else, ever.

Pay and book
For small jobs you pay the full fee up front by card, through a secure payment link we send you. That locks in your slot — no deposit-then-balance faff.
Secure card link — never over the phone
Move day
The crew turns up when they said they would, loads carefully, and gets it done. If anything comes up, you ring us — one number, someone who already knows the job.

What it costs
Typical man and van prices in Norfolk
Typical fixed prices, not a guaranteed quote. Yours depends on how much is going, stairs and long carries, parking at each end and specialist items. Typical Norfolk prices from published guides put two people and a van at around £60–£80 an hour; ours are priced per job. Small jobs are paid in full when you book, by secure card link — there's no checkout on this site and we never take card details over the phone.
Single item
£60–£70
A wardrobe or washing machine collected and delivered. A sofa from photos is often £40–£50.
One-bed move
From £180
One man and van for a straightforward one-bed. Half a day's help with a bigger move is around £210.
Two-bed move
Around £480
Two men and a van for a full day.
Getting a price is free. Weekend or Friday surcharges aren't usual but depend on the firm. Cancellation and refund terms for pre-paid jobs are set out on the terms page, and shown again on your quote before any payment is taken. Terms page.

100% 5 star Billy was nice, polite, hardworking man and I was fully satisfied with the work. Best removal service in Norwich!
Used this company to move my sofa across Norwich, quick replies and well priced
Absolutely superb service. I had called bill as he was the first urgent moving company that I found on Google, and although it was midday he accommodated my request after I almost got scammed by another very famous moving company in Norwich (they knew I needed it urgently so they decided to triple the price when I have dealt with them before and I knew their prices + they were rude about it too). He was very easy going and Waited with us until we got after hours access from the storage unit. He also lifted all the boxes up one floor, fixed the door that wouldn't open and charged us a fraction of what the other company wanted to. If you need a moving company in Norwich I wouldn't recommend anyone else.
